With major vineyard holdings across South Australia our links to the land are as strong as ever and our desire to protect and improve this finite natural resource is driving much of our development. Over one third of all company owned vineyards are certified Organic including the Warboys Vineyard in McLaren Vale. This means we grow our grapes with no artificial herbicides, fertilisers or pesticides. At no stage during the grape growing or winemaking processes have we used any synthetic chemicals or inorganic inputs. These are wines as nature intended – pure and clean – crafted with just the gentlest touch from our winemakers.

Winery Tasting Notes

Colour

Dark purple/red in colour.

Aroma

Raspberry and plum characters abound on the nose.

Palate

A complex palate of dark red fruits is complemented by subtle use of American oak displaying cinnamon and mocha characters. The palate is juicy, fresh and mouth-coating. The wine is firm in tannin whilst young but

should soften well in the near future allowing the rounder characters typical of good Merlot to come to the fore.
