Winery Tasting Notes

COLOUR

Deep brick red with a touch of garnet.

NOSE

Aromas of ripe dark plum and spicy cracked pepper blend

seamlessly with hints of sweet vanilla bean, cinnamon and earthy

fennel.

PALATE

The palate is smooth and polished, with a rich tapestry of black pepper, vanilla pod, and a burst of red berries. Licorice and cinnamon add a subtle spicy note, while the soft, rounded tannins provide a silky mouthfeel. The medium body is complemented by a long, velvety finish.

FOOD MATCH

Classic beef lasagna, or roasted duck breast with plum sauce.
