VINTAGE NOTES

The 2018 growing season had excellent Winter and Spring rainfall, this was accompanied by quite cool temperatures. A mild summer was followed by a long and sunny autumn allowing fruit flavours to develop slowly yet fully.

WINEMAKING NOTES

At harvest the Sauvignon Blanc grapes show wonderfully intense varietal expression and natural acidity. Vineyard parcels were fermented separately with carefully selected yeast strains. Further maturation on lees for three months prior to bottling has created pleasing palate weight and texture.

Colour

Pale lemon.

Aroma

Fresh, vibrant aromas of blackcurrant leaf, lime zest and passionfruit with a hint fresh herbs. Intense and lifted.

Palate

The aromas are fully displayed on the palate along with freshly peeled citrus. The crisp acidity is balanced with

a softness and weight on the mid palate that lingers along the tongue accompanied with a grapefruit pithiness.
