The Limestone Coast is the source of the best value regional wines in South Australia and a beautifully diverse but moderate climate perfect for premium winemaking.

Winery Tasting Notes

This Merlot is a medium bodied but full-flavoured wine with textbook cooler vintage Merlot characters of dark berry fruit with bright colours and youthful flavours. The palate has a plushness and tight, fine tannin structure and fresh acidity tying it all together. Red and black fruits are the hall mark characteristics with subtle leaf and chocolate notes filling out the long finish. Great with meat dishes as well as dark chocolate desserts.

Winery Profile

The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Elephant in the Room was created to give consumers exactly what they want – full bodied and mouth-filling wines that deliver maximum pleasure.

Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards in the Limestone Coast of South Australia and partially matured in French Oak. The Chardonnay is sourced from the coastal Robe wine region, the Cabernet from near Mount Benson and the Pinot Noir from an elevated site near Mount Gambier.
