Wine Summary Image

MadFish Moscato is made from the most noble of Muscat grape varieties, the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. Whilst the name implies a white colouration, the unexpected rosa or pinkness of the wine is the result of a fortunate variant within the variety. As such, the adoption of the name, Muscat Rose à Petits Grains better describes the wine colour.

Fragrant, fresh and low in alcohol, this wine is a wonderfully light alternative to champagne that can be enjoyed any time of the day or year.

Since 1988 Two Rivers have specialised in making quality wines from premium grape varietals. Under the watchful eye of award winning Viticulturist team Brett and Linda Keeping, Two Rivers is now among the premier vineyards of the Hunter Valley.

Our Vigneron’s Selection range recognises the essential contribution of viticulture to the winemaking process. The vineyard’s distinctive site, its careful nurturing and a deep understanding of the vine’s requirements are all fundamental to fine wine production. The wines in this range have been selected as being true representations of the unique, individual vineyard sites where they are grown.

Winery Tasting Notes

Pretty and pale pink in colour, this Moscato is like summer in a glass. Full of exotic notes of guava, quince and raspberry, lightly spiced with musk, rose petal and star anise. Fresh, punchy lychee, guava, raspberry sorbet, and pomegranate flavours provide a luscious sweetness to the palate, perfectly complimented by a zesty citrus acid crunch and light fizz.

Food Match

Pairs perfectly with spicy Asian meals or enjoy this refreshing, low alcohol wine with sweet brunch dishes such as summer fruit or berry waffles.

Recommended Cellaring

Enjoy now or over the next 2 to 3 years.

About Us

The MadFish story begins in the far southern reaches of Western Australia where 15 kilometres from the quiet coastal town of Denmark is the picturesque Madfish Bay. According to local folklore, the bay’s tranquillity is broken when two tides meet. The fish confused by this natural phenomenon, can be observed leaping in the air as if in a state of complete madness.

Our Label

The artwork for the label was originally designed by the late Maxine Fumagalli, a Noongar artist from Western Australia’s Great Southern, who had a deep love for the land and the people of the South-West region.

Her designs reflect the Aboriginal understanding that there is unity between land, sea, stars, animals and people, hence the inclusion of all elements in the label’s design.

The traditional aboriginal water turtle design on the label is a symbol of perserverance and tolerance - no doubt characteristics displayed by the fish in MadFish Bay.
