The Mackie HD1531 3-Way High Definition Loudspeaker offers Class-D amplifier technology, delivering up to 1,800 watts of peak system power. An ideal stage solution, the HD1531 is suitable for amplifying both vocal and acoustic frequencies in superior detail using Mackie Thump's own Class-D Fast Recovery amplification system. This system provides the speaker with both a compression driver for high frequencies and a high output woofer that provides pumping bass frequencies. Such a speaker is unrivalled.
The HD1531’s 3-way high definition loudspeaker is designed to give you class-leading power, unmatched clarity and flexibility. The Class-D Recovery system ensures that the Mackie's output, unlike other speakers, is never distorted no matter how much power is put through it. Advanced system tuning and a custom transducer designed by EAW ensure an optimised system - the Mackie’s circuitry is protected against over-heating. Mackie’s unrivalled ‘Active’ electronics system incorporates precision cross overs, transducer time alignment and phase correction circuitry which counters the physical inherent attributes of speaker systems. For added flexibility, the HD1531 comes with user adjustable three-band EQ on the rear panel of the loudspeaker allowing you to customise your loudspeakers for the task in hand. This option is particularly useful for smaller setups where outboard gear in unavailable.
The Mackie HD1531 is given superior, sturdy protection by a compact wooden enclosure and is able to be mounted on a pole. It can be integrated into most systems and can suit a number of roles, from small events to professional installations.
