With a plug and play USB cable, you can listen to your tapes through your computer - or switch to battery power and take your music wherever you want to go.
Not only does it allow you to revive your faves, it also doubles as a Dictaphone, with VAS (Voice Activated System), inbuilt speaker for standalone playback and two speed play. So you can record your meeting and convert to MP3 or WAV back at the office.
Of course, that's just it's "serious" uses, we'll leave it to your ingenuity (and respect of privacy laws) as to what else you might be able to capture for posterity e.g. "the Sharks will win by 12 points, or I'll walk to Uluru naked". (Remember to send us the pics.)

The Personal USB Tape Converter plugs into your computer using the included 3.5 mm audio to USB cable. It allows cassette tapes to be recorded and converted direct to MP3 files, ready to be copied to iPods, MP3 player or CD.
Includes MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab SE audio software for PC and Audacity audio software for Mac/PC, which helps you import your music as well as clean and optimize your sound quality. It is also possible to transfer recorder music into iTunes.
The Personal USB Tape Converter can also be used as a normal cassette tape player or recorder using the built-in speaker and microphone. It also features a 3.5 mm audio-out headphone socket and a 3.5 mm audio-in microphone socket.
